Derek Robbins

Derek Robbins is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software architecture and project engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Software Architect at NICE CXone since June 2021, Derek has previously held prominent roles at MindTouch as a Software Architect and Software Engineer from April 2015 to June 2021, and at Eventful as a Front-end Engineer, where skills in Javascript, HTML, CSS, and Perl were utilized. Additionally, experience includes serving as a Project Engineer at K&A Engineering from January 2005 to May 2012, focusing on the design of grading and utility pipelines for commercial and residential projects, and at Johnson & Nielsen Associates from June 1999 to December 2004, where Derek contributed to the design of structural components of buildings in compliance with California standards. Derek holds a degree from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, earned between 1999 and 2002.
