Mel Heide

Mel Heide is the Director of Operations for the Customer Service Automation Division at NICE Software. With over 20 years of experience in the technology and public accounting sectors, Mel has a strong professional background that includes roles in accounting, finance, and human resources. Previously a CPA for 15 years, Mel has held key positions, including VP of Finance and HR at goMoxie and Controller at Who's Calling, where they managed complex accounting and finance operations. Mel is also an accomplished executive leader, having contributed to the sale of three companies and one division, while demonstrating expertise in architecting financial forecasting tools and implementing GAAP-based standards. Mel earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Western Washington University and a postgraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Washington.
