Mark Horton

Mark Horton is a Senior Accountant at The Nichols Accounting Group P.C. since January 2019, where responsibilities include tax return preparation, review, and supervision of tax staff. Prior roles include Associate, focusing on tax preparation for various entities, and Intern, involving foundational tax return preparation. Between October 2015 and October 2018, Mark operated as a self-employed Piano Instructor, delivering weekly lessons. Mark's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Western Governors University (2019-2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Northwest Nazarene University (2010-2014), as well as completion of high school at Nyssa High School (2006-2010). Additionally, as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Northwest Nazarene University, Mark contributed to the development of a remote sensing platform for agriculture, utilizing drone technology for data collection.
