Ryan Giertz

Ryan Giertz is an experienced Project Manager and Estimator currently working at Nicholson Construction since August 2019, where responsibilities include bidding and managing projects with a significant geotechnical focus across the Midwest. Previous roles include Project Manager at Hayward Baker, where bidding and project management for multiple projects in western Pennsylvania and West Virginia were performed, as well as serving as a Project Engineer focused on structural solutions. Ryan's career began at Moretrench as a Staff Engineer, participating in a corporate-managed rotation program. Earlier roles also include a Technician at Waterborne Environmental and a Field Research Intern at the Illinois State Water Survey. Ryan holds an MS in Civil Engineering and a BS in Agricultural and Biological Engineering, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
