Phil Cotton has extensive experience in the sports and entertainment industry. Phil is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Nicklaus Companies, where they oversee various business operations, including golf course design, real estate development, and marketing of lifestyle products. Prior to this, Phil held the position of CEO at Elevate Sports Co and Director of Rights Holder Consulting at 1920 Worldwide. Phil also served as the Head of Golf EMEA and Asia at 4sports&Entertainment. Phil's career in sports management began at Ernie Els, where they served as the Business Manager and Senior Vice President, handling various business interests of professional golfer Ernie Els. Additionally, Phil has experience as an Account Director at The Works London, where they directed a global sponsorship program. Phil started their career as the Sales and Marketing Manager at Parallel Media Group.

These services include golf-course design, the development of golf and real estate communities, and the marketing and licensing of golf products and services. Nicklaus Design, recognized as the world leader in golf course design, has been involved with more than 370 courses open for play in 36 countries and 39 states. Of those, Jack Nicklaus has designed, co-designed or re-designed close to 280 courses around the globe, 63 of which have been ranked in various national or international Top-100 lists. At least 90 have hosted a combined total of over 600 professional tournaments worldwide. Nicklaus Design currently has projects under development in 34 different countries, including 16 in which it has never been involved before, furthering its initiative to introduce and grow the game of golf in new and emerging markets worldwide.
