Nicks & Company Timber Limited has been at the heart of British timber for over 165 years. Founded in 1856, we're one of the UK's longest-established timber merchants — a name that tradespeople, builders, and craftspeople across Gloucestershire have trusted for generations.
Based in Gloucester with a branch in Coleford, we supply a wide range of timber and related products to both trade and retail customers. Whether you're a sole trader sourcing hardwoods for a bespoke joinery project, a contractor buying in volume, or a DIY enthusiast tackling a home improvement, Nicks Timber has the stock, knowledge, and service to match.
Our roots are in timber. Our expertise is in people.
With a dedicated B2B team, an online store at nickstimberstore.co.uk, and experienced staff across our branches, we combine the reliability of a heritage business with the accessibility of a modern merchant. We're not a faceless national chain — we're a specialist, and that makes a difference.
What we offer:

Hardwoods & softwoods
Sheet materials & panels
Trade accounts & B2B supply
Online ordering with delivery across the UK

Over 165 years in business. Still here. Still growing.
