Derek Singer

Derek Singer has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2005 as a Research Analyst for GE Corporate Environmental Programs. In 2006, they moved to Eastern Research Group as an Economic Analyst. In 2010, they were an MBA Intern for Sustainability and Supply Chain at Ocean Spray Cranberries. From 2011 to 2022, Derek worked at Stonyfield in various roles, including Senior Manager of Sustainability, Senior Manager of Sourcing and Supplier Development for Raw Materials and Packaging, Manager of Sourcing and Supplier Development for Fruit, Flavor and Ingredients, and Senior Director of Corporate Purchasing and Comanufacturing North America. In 2022, they began their current role as Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing at NICKS.

Derek Singer obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University in 2011, where they studied Strategy & Business Analysis and Supply Chain Management. Derek also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Environmental Studies from Middlebury College, which they obtained in 2005. Additionally, Derek has obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
