Michael Frederick has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Michael currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Flatirons Development, a product development and design firm specializing in software solutions. Michael joined the company in 2018.

In 2022, Michael took on the role of Chief Technology Officer at Nicolette, a position they currently hold. Michael also became the Chief Executive Officer of Flatirons Fuse, an intelligent CSV import tool for websites, in the same year.

Prior to their current roles, Michael served as an Angel Investor at Golden Seeds, an organization that empowers women to invest in early-stage companies led by women. Michael joined Golden Seeds in 2021.

From 2018 to 2020, Michael worked as a Lead Mentor at Boomtown Accelerators, mentoring entrepreneurs and providing guidance to startups.

In 2018, they co-founded KoaWare, where they led the product and development teams, focusing on innovative real estate marketing solutions.

Before that, Michael gained significant experience at Gust, a company where they held various roles. Michael served as the Senior Product Director from 2014 to 2018, leading the development of Gust Launch, the company's flagship product. Michael also worked as a Lead Engineer from 2012 to 2014, playing a key role in executing initiatives and fostering a product development culture.

Michael's earlier experiences include running their own web and mobile product development consultancy, Frederick Development, LLC., from 2011 to 2012. Michael also worked as a Lead Engineer at Hardin Design and Development, a boutique software development firm, from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Engineer, continuously enhancing their software and design skills, from 2006 to 2010.

Throughout their career, Michael has gained expertise in various technologies, including iOS, Android, Ruby on Rails, PHP, JavaScript, C#, Flex, and more.

Michael Frederick attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics.
