Eric Barnes is an accomplished sales professional with extensive experience in the media and advertising sectors. Currently serving as Director of Sales at Nielsen since November 2016, Eric leads efforts to provide comprehensive data and analytics solutions for clients in the media industry. Prior to this role, Eric was Sales Director at Legacy.com from October 2012 to 2016, helping clients connect with audiences during significant life moments. Eric's career also includes positions at Collective Media as Senior Account Executive, where personalized advertising solutions were developed, and the Chicago Tribune Media Group, where digital media sales were driven as Digital Media Sales Manager and Digital Media Account Executive. Eric's foundational experience began with roles at Where® Chicago Magazine and Northern Star Newspaper. Eric holds a B.A. in Communications, Business, and Marketing from Northern Illinois University.
