Samuel Fitting

Samuel Fitting has a strong background in program and product management, with experience spanning multiple industries. Samuel currently holds the position of Lead Technical Program Manager at NielsenIQ, a role they have held since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Sears Holdings Corporation, where they held various director-level positions in program and product management from 2009 to 2019. In these roles, they directed a range of innovation programs and products, including store concepts, RFID tracking, digital vignettes, and in-store 3D printing. Samuel also spearheaded the development of shopSEARs, a CRM product, and the In Vehicle Pickup product. Before their time at Sears, Samuel worked at Advocate Health Care as a Manager of Enterprise Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence, and at HR Solutions, Inc. as a Director of Technology/Data Analysis. Their early career includes a role as a Senior Technical Manager at TicketsNow.com, where they managed development teams, implemented data warehouse solutions, and provided architectural guidance on open source technologies.

Samuel Fitting holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Samuel also has a Master's degree in Project Management from Villanova University and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University Chicago. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning Applications, Agile Project Management, and FPGA Development from institutions such as LinkedIn, Scrum.org, and the Project Management Institute.
