Mike Whitman

Mike Whitman is currently the VP of Finance at Nift. Prior to their current position, Mike was the Sr. Director of Finance & Strategic Planning for Rue Gilt Groupe from June 2014 to December 2018. In this role, Mike was responsible for leading strategic growth and business optimization initiatives, in addition to core finance functions. Mike served as a thought partner and advisor to the executive team.

Before Rue Gilt Groupe, Mike Whitman was with Panera Bread from June 2012 to June 2014 as the Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. In this role, Mike served as an internal consultant and advisor to the core leadership team on key initiatives to grow sales, reduce costs, and expand product offerings. Additionally, they were responsible for leading retail forecasting and company financial reporting.

Mike Whitman's educational career consists of completing a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University and then going on to earn their Master of Business Administration with concentrations in finance and strategic management from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
