John Hsu

John Hsu has over fifteen years of experience in the engineering field, with a focus on autonomous vehicles and vessels. John began their career at SpaceX as an Aero/Dynamics Engineer, where they worked on launch vehicle buffet loads and coupled loads analysis. John then moved to Willow Garage as a Senior Engineer, where they worked on autonomous vehicle and vessel research, computer vision, numerical algorithm development, path planning, and message passing. In 2012, John Hsu joined the Open Source Robotics Foundation as Chief Scientist. In this role, they oversaw the development of the ROS software platform and provided support to the ROS community. In 2015, John Hsu joined Nightingale Security as CTO. In this role, they are responsible for the development and delivery of Nightingale's products and services.

John Hsu attended Stanford University and the University of California, Los Angeles.

John Hsu reports to Jack Wu, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Kyle Roh - Director of Operations, Tal Turner - VP, Global Director Business Development & Strategic Partnerships.
