Amitay Alter

Amitay Alter is currently the Director of Data Science at Nike, a position held since 2020. Prior to this role, they served as an Expert Data Scientist at Nike and were a Principal Data Scientist at Celect, Inc. from 2017 to 2019, which was later acquired by Nike. Amitay also has experience as a Manager and Associate at Analysis Group from 2013 to 2014 and was an Assistant Professor of Economics at Olin Business School from 2009 to 2013. They are pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics at Stanford University and hold a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
