Caitlin O'Connor

Caitlin O'Connor is a seasoned data management professional with extensive experience in metadata, taxonomy, and information architecture. Currently serving as Senior Director of Data & AI at Nike, Caitlin leads the development and implementation of a metadata and master data management strategy, while mentoring a team of experts in best practices. Previously, Caitlin held key roles at The Walt Disney Company, Guitar Center, and the Kelley School of Business, where responsibilities included overseeing metadata operations, developing SEO strategies, and conducting user research. Caitlin's educational background includes a B.A. in Anthropology from Reed College, an M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Penn State University.
