Cheng Hu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in materials innovation and research. Currently serving as Director and Principal Innovator at Nike Inc. since January 2010, Cheng leads cross-functional programs focusing on the exploration and commercialization of advanced materials and technologies. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Scientist at Soane Energy, where innovations in novel polymer systems and functional materials were spearheaded, and a position as Group Leader at Nano-Tex Inc., which saw the successful launch of four new performance textile products. Cheng holds a Ph.D. in Textile & Polymer Chemistry from Donghua University and two Master of Science degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Artificial Neural Networks from The University of Georgia.
