Darryl Matthews is an accomplished footwear designer with extensive experience in the industry. They began their career as a Designer Intern at Camper and went on to work at Umbro as a Footwear Designer from 2004 to 2008. Darryl then served as a Senior Footwear Designer at PUMA Group, contributing to notable collaborations with Alexander McQueen and Hussein Chalayan from 2008 to 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Footwear Design at Nike, overseeing innovative design initiatives within the Catalyst Footwear division, while also leading special projects and innovation at the company. Darryl earned a Bachelor of Arts in Product Design from Ravensbourne between 1998 and 2001.
