Dr. Eric King is the Director of Sustainable Innovation at Nike, where they lead a comprehensive, science-based agenda to achieve the company’s sustainability objectives. With over seven years of experience, Dr. King develops and executes strategies in areas such as impact analytics, materials innovation, and circular economy. They are also a co-founder of Gun by Gun, a social enterprise focused on gun buyback programs and addressing gun violence in America. Previously, Dr. King served as an Innovation Specialist at USAID, where they integrated science and technology to combat global poverty. They hold a PhD in Geophysics and Space Physics from UCLA and a BS in Mathematical Physics from SUNY Binghamton.
