John Shipman

John Shipman is currently the Senior Director of Global Places at Nike, where they oversee a diverse range of workplace design and connectivity initiatives across the Americas. With a background in architecture, Shipman has cultivated extensive expertise in corporate real estate, project management, and retail strategy. Previously, they held roles including Nike Europe Real Estate Director, where they managed all non-retail real estate aspects across Europe, and Space Project Manager at Nike South Africa, where they played a crucial role in store planning and execution. Shipman's career also includes consultancy experience in corporate real estate strategies and a foundational role as an architect and space planner. They earned degrees in Architecture from the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of Port Elizabeth.
