Johnny Sand

Johnny Sand is a software and data engineer with extensive experience in handling vast amounts of text data and conducting laboratory product testing. They have worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Nike since 2022 and previously held roles at companies like Cisco, Accompany, and IGNW, where they developed data pipelines and created classification models. Johnny also co-taught a Python workshop as part of their data science residency at Galvanize Inc. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Western Washington University and are passionate about arts, science, commuting by bike, and community involvement.
