Joy Kim

Joy Kim is a 3D Apparel Designer and Technical Designer with a strong focus on sustainable and inclusive fashion. Currently serving as the Digital Technical Design Lead Innovation at Nike since 2025, Joy previously worked with notable companies such as Studio Nazar Inc and Perry Ellis International, where they honed skills in 3D product development and digital presentations. Joy has also contributed to education as an instructor at the Seoul Institute of Technology and Education and as a teaching assistant at Parsons School of Design. In addition to their professional roles, Joy is the founder of Purplue Virtual Fashion, LLC, where they support various brands in 3D design and product development. Joy holds a Master of Fine Arts in Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design and continues to pursue an Associate of Arts and Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design and Technical Design, respectively.
