Julia Riss is the Director of Government and Public Affairs, Sustainability Policy, EMEA at Nike, where they focus on strategy, sustainability, and communications. With over 10 years of experience, Julia has developed and managed public affairs and communications campaigns across Europe, specializing in environment and digitalization. Previously, they served as Head of the Brussels Office for EU Public Affairs at REWE Group, leading communication activities with European stakeholders. Julia began their career with internships at the European Parliament and the Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands. They also worked at Burson-Marsteller, where Julia developed integrated communication campaigns for various sectors.
