Maria Eitel is a prominent leader in corporate responsibility and philanthropy, serving as the Founder, President, and CEO of the Nike Foundation since 1998, where Maria also holds the position of Chair of the Board of Directors. Eitel is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Girl Effect since 2008 and holds the position of Chair Emeritus. Eitel has served on the Board of Cloudflare, Inc. since 2018, as a member of the Advisory Council for MIT Media Lab since 2010, and on the Advisory Board for the World Surf League since 2019.
