Michael Laubach is a seasoned professional in the animation and visual effects industry with a diverse range of experience. As a Technical Director at Laika from May 2010 to April 2017, Laubach led rigging efforts for stop motion production and developed innovative facial rig systems for the film Paranorman. Prior to Laika, Laubach held positions at notable companies such as Sony Pictures Imageworks, where responsibilities included managing facial rigging for motion capture projects, and Big Idea Productions, where involvement spanned all aspects of production.
