Mike Child

Mike Child has extensive leadership experience spanning various sectors, including technology, defense, and consulting. At Shield AI, from October 2018 to December 2019, Mike served as Chief Of Staff to the CEO. Prior to this, Mike's military career in the US Army included roles as Captain in Infantry and Intelligence from June 2006 to July 2013, where responsibilities encompassed Brigade Assistant Intelligence Officer and Rifle Platoon Leader. Following military service, Mike was an Engagement Manager and Associate at McKinsey & Company from November 2017 to September 2018. More recently, Mike has held multiple strategic roles at Nike, including Head of Strategy for Nike Virtual Studios, NAO - Business Transformation Senior Principal, and Director of Corporate Strategy from January 2022 to January 2024. Mike holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the Virginia Military Institute.
