Steven Smith

Steven Smith is an accomplished design professional with a diverse background in UX design, product management, and education. With experience as Education Director at AIGA Austin, Steven has provided creative direction to enhance design programming for students and early career designers. As Senior Design Manager at Realtor.com and currently as Director of Product Design at Nike, Steven has led product design initiatives, focusing on user experience and team mentorship. Previous roles include UX Designer/Engineer at Amplify, Senior Product Designer at Blackboard, and Interaction Designer at Fjord, where Steven contributed significantly to various projects across multiple sectors. Steven also has a strong educational background, teaching at institutions such as Texas State University and St. Edward's University, and holds an MFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts and a BS in Anthropology and Computer Science from Southwestern University.
