Steven Walker

Steven Walker is a Principal Sensor Engineer at Nike, specializing in optical engineering, sensor technology management, and motion control. Since joining Nike in 2011, they have been responsible for the design and architecture of sensor systems that provide accurate sport information, while also managing resources for development and execution. Previously, they held various engineering roles at Hewlett-Packard from 1995 to 2005, where they led the development of optical sensors and mentored engineers in sensor technology. Steven holds a Master’s degree in Electromechanics and Controls from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
