Rhode Thomas is an experienced language access professional with a diverse background in interpretation and translation services. As Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Carolina Association of Translators and Interpreters since January 2024, Rhode is responsible for maintaining accurate meeting minutes. In addition, Rhode founded and serves as President of Thomas and Fermin LLC since May 2018, providing organizations with essential interpretation and translation services that prioritize communication and cultural sensitivity. Furthermore, Rhode has been a Professional Spanish Interpreter for Greenville County Schools since September 2014, specializing in English to Spanish simultaneous and consecutive interpretation. Rhode holds certification from the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters, attained from April 2016 to May 2017.
