Leon Neal

Leon Neal is a London-based staff photographer at Getty Images, specializing in editorial news coverage across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions. After spending a decade in the music industry, they transitioned into media, earning a Level 3 Diploma in Photojournalism from Sheffield International College. In 2003, Leon won a scholarship as "Young Photographer of the Year" at The Times, where they worked until 2006 before becoming a freelance photographer. Leon joined Agence France-Presse in 2007, serving until 2016, and has covered numerous significant events including the London 2012 Olympics and the Libyan Revolution. Since 2015, they have also worked as a brand ambassador for Nikon.
