Ane Jensen

Ane Jensen has a range of work experience in various roles and companies. Ane is currently working as a Nano-Optics Mastering and Prototyping Engineer at NIL Technology since May 2023. Prior to this, they were a Development Engineer at OCTLIGHT from February 2017 to May 2023. In this role, they focused on the development and processing of MEMS VCSEL for optical coherence tomography (OCT) applications, including clean room work, epitaxial growth, characterization, lithography, etching, and optimization of clean room processes. Ane also has experience in MEMS VCSEL characterization and back-end processes.

Before joining OCTLIGHT, Ane worked at Capres A/S as an Application Engineer from January 2009 to January 2017. Their main activities included conducting demo measurements for potential customers using advanced electronic testing equipment based on microscopic probe technology. Prior to this role, they briefly served as a MEMS Design Engineer at Capres A/S from January 2008 to December 2008.

Ane's earlier experience includes working as a Postdoc at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen from 2003 to 2008, and as a Research Assistant at the same institute from 1999 to 2000. Ane also had a trainee position at NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation), Basic Research Laboratories from March 1999 to September 1999.

Ane Jensen completed their education at the DTU - Technical University of Denmark. From 1993 to 1999, they pursued a Master's Degree in Physics. Following this, they went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from 2000 to 2003 at the same institution.
