Johnny Overgaard

Johnny Overgaard serves as the VP R&D and Head of Competency Centre Europe at Nilfisk since September 2016, overseeing R&D initiatives in Europe and leading global software and technology development. Overgaard has extensive experience in R&D leadership roles, including executing a significant cost reduction program and managing global R&D for vacuum cleaners and high-pressure washers. Previously, as CEO of Center for Industry, Overgaard focused on supporting industrial segment growth through mentoring and customized development processes. Prior roles at Grundfos involved responsibilities such as Electro Mechanical Development Manager and Head of Technology Discovery. Overgaard's educational background includes an MBA and a Master’s in Management of Technology from Aalborg University, complemented by a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
