Scott Burt

Scott Burt has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Scott currently holds the position of Vice President of Drafting at Nilson Homes since July 2021. Previously, they served as the Director of Pre-Construction at the same company from December 2019 to July 2021.

Before joining Nilson Homes, Scott worked at Ivory Homes for almost two decades, from June 2000 to December 2019, as a Senior Architectural Design Specialist.

Scott also had brief stints at Richmond American Homes as a Senior Architectural Draftsman from 2003 to 2004, and at Habitations Home Plans as a Senior Architectural Design Manager from 1998 to 2000.

Scott's career started as a Cad Lab Instructor at Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they owned and operated Intermountain Home Design as the owner from 1991 to 1998. Scott began their professional journey as an Architectural Draftsman at Arnell's House Plans from 1990 to 1995.

Scott Burt completed their education at Weber State University, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Design Graphics with an emphasis in Architectural Design. Scott attended Weber State University from 1992 to 1996. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Weber High School.
