Chris Nicol has extensive experience in electrical and firmware engineering, currently working at SMART Technologies since July 2010, focusing on the development of hardware and firmware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior roles include electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where design and repair of educational devices was undertaken, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for forestry equipment. Additionally, Chris served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting lab sessions and evaluations for engineering courses. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
