Dan Powell

A ‘renaissance developer,’ Dan has over fifteen years of startup, management, architecture, and development experience. He has spent most of his career solving large-scale data problems, using a wide variety of technology to architect and implement high-volume web and mobile systems. Whether providing a next-generation architecture for a top-three clinical applications vendor or developing a mobile training solution for global sales forces, Dan has drawn from experiences with companies as varied as IBM, Cerner, Alere, Mobiquity, Vertica (HP), Bluefin Labs (Twitter), Tervela, and more. Balancing today’s business needs with tomorrow’s technical possibilities, Dan and his team apply agile techniques to build a robust architecture for software that engages users and delights customers and partners. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Dan studied mathematics and chemistry at North Carolina State University.
