Nimbus, a pioneering social enterprise company, based in Derby, is run by disabled people and enables companies and service providers to meet and exceed their legal obligations for disabled people.

Nimbus was granted The Queen’s Award for Innovation in 2022 in recognition of the positive impact that the Access Card has on enabling tens of thousands of disabled people have better access to entertainment venues.

The Access Card is the first accessible ticketing scheme of its type in the UK offering a universal and consistent way of disabled people evidencing and communicating their access needs to providers quickly and discreetly.

Venues now benefiting from accepting the card are widespread and include arenas,
theatres, football clubs, ticket retailers, festivals alongside the retail sector. Now with the Nimbus Operating System or NOS, Nimbus and the Access Card has become the 'digital bridge' between 100,000's of disabled people and your business, simply and effectively opening up a world of opportunity.

The organisation is also one of the UK’s leading providers of disability-related training, auditing and consultancy for businesses and organisations, supporting businesses to showcase their ability to work with disabled people and to become a provider/employer of choice.
