Tora Matys

Tora Matys is a dedicated podcaster at Background Noise, focusing on promoting independent musical talent in Canada since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Sales Representative and Marketing Consultant at Blackgold Broadcasting Inc. from November 2021 to April 2022, and serving as the Entertainment Editor for the NAIT Students' Association from September 2019 to August 2021, where responsibilities included gathering information and pitching article ideas. Tora co-hosted a morning show during an internship at Bell Media while also contributing as a Street Team Member and Remote Technician, engaged with multiple radio stations. Tora's educational background includes pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Innovation, and previously earning a Diploma of Education in Radio and Television from NAIT.
