Alexander Needs

Alexander Needs has extensive experience in the media industry, with a career spanning over two decades. Notably, during a tenure at Nine from 2013 to 2014, Alexander held several key positions including Supervising Producer for Weekend TODAY and Director of Video Content, Partnerships & Growth. As a co-chair of Nine Pride, contributions to diversity and inclusion initiatives were significant. Since September 2021, Alexander has served as Director at Gumleaf Productions. Earlier roles include Associate Editor at ACP Magazines and various producer roles at Nine Entertainment Co., culminating as Executive Producer for Integration, Strategy & Planning. Alexander has also been a Board Member at the Australian Science Media Centre since April 2020. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney and an HSC from Trinity Grammar School.
