Alexandra Smith

Alexandra Smith is a political editor, columnist, author, and commentator. Currently serving as the state political editor for Nine since 2018, they previously worked at Fairfax Media as an education editor from 2014 to 2018, and as a reporter focusing on education for Guardian News & Media from 2006 to 2007. Alexandra holds a BA in Journalism, Sociology, and Public Relations from the University of Newcastle, which they completed between 1996 and 1999.
