Cara Waters

Cara Waters is currently the City Editor at The Age, having previously served as the startups and technology editor. Prior to this role, Cara worked as the Small Business Editor at Nine and held various editorial positions at SmartCompany. Cara has also reported for FTAdviser.com under the Financial Times, and worked as a journalist for several prominent publications, including The Guardian and The Sunday Times. Before transitioning to journalism, Cara practiced as a corporate litigation solicitor for six years at Mallesons Stephen Jaques in Melbourne and Linklaters in London. Cara holds a BA/LLB from the University of Melbourne and an NCTJ in Journalism from Lambeth College.
