Michael Koziol

Michael Koziol is currently the deputy editor of The Sun-Herald, the Sunday edition of The Sydney Morning Herald. They have served as the North America correspondent for both The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age in 2025 and previously held the position of Sydney editor at The Sydney Morning Herald. Earlier, they worked as editor of Honi Soit, the University of Sydney's student newspaper, and gained experience as a reporter at PolitiFact Australia and as Group Editor at Alternative Media Group. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications from the University of Sydney.
