Aimie Rigas has extensive experience in various roles within the media industry in Australia. Aimie started their career as an Editorial Coordinator at Bauer Media Australia in 2007 and worked in various digital content management and editorial positions for different publications under the company. In 2015, they joined HuffPost Australia as an Engagement Editor, where they played a key role in launching and growing the audience reach of the publication. Aimie later became the Head of Audience Development, overseeing audience strategy, data analysis, and partnerships. In 2017, Aimie joined Power Ledger as a Manager of Marketing & Community, contributing to the development and recognition of the company's blockchain applications. From 2019 onwards, they worked at Nine, initially as the Head of Audience Development for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age newsrooms, focusing on consolidating data sources and improving content output. Later, they became the Director of Audience Development, Publishing, managing the audience development team for multiple publications. Currently, Aimie is a Board Trustee at the Fairfax Foundation, where they support the advancement of the health, education, and welfare of individuals in the media industry and their families.

Aimie Rigas completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications at the University of Technology Sydney from 2007 to 2010. Aimie also attended General Assembly in 2014 to 2015, where they studied Digital Product Management.
