Alexander Needs

Alexander Needs is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in content production and strategic partnerships, currently serving as the Director of Video Content, Partnerships & Growth for News & Current Affairs at Nine since October 2008. In this role, Alexander also co-chairs Nine’s LGBTQIA+ community group. Previous positions at Nine include Partnerships & Strategy Director, Executive Producer for Integration, Strategy & Planning, and various supervisory roles for programs like TODAY and A Current Affair. Additionally, Alexander is a Director at Gumleaf Productions and a Board Member at the Australian Science Media Centre. Earlier career experience includes serving as Associate Editor at ACP Magazines from 2002 to 2009. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney and completed HSC at Trinity Grammar School.
