Gareth Parker is an accomplished journalist and media professional with extensive experience in news content direction and presentation. Currently serving as the Network News Content Director and Director of News for 9News Perth since January 2017, Gareth has also contributed as a columnist for WAtoday. Previous roles include columnist for The Sunday Times and various reporting positions with West Australian Newspapers from 2004 to 2017, where responsibilities ranged from State Political Editor to Cadet Journalist.
