Garry Bentlin

Garry Bentlin is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as Group Director Cyber Security (CISO) at Nine since October 2023. Prior to this role, Garry was a Partner at PwC Australia from July 2021 to October 2023 and held significant positions at Deakin University, providing governance as a Board member on the Executive Advisory Board for Cyber, contributing to the advancement of cyber security education and research. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Information Security Officer at TransGrid and as National Cyber-Security Director at Deloitte Australia. Earlier in the career, Garry worked at IBM in multiple roles, including Security Delivery Project Executive and Global Security Manager. Garry holds a postgraduate diploma in Policing Intelligence and Counter-terrorism from Macquarie University and has undertaken professional development at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
