Howard Rees

Howard Rees is an executive leader with extensive experience in P&L ownership and team management, noted for driving change and growth in the media sector. Currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer for Streaming & Broadcast at Nine, they previously led Optus Sport, where they oversaw a team of approximately 100 and managed the P&L for Australia’s premier football streaming service. Howard's prior roles include Director of Strategy at Foxtel, where they directed strategies for a content budget exceeding $1 billion per annum, and Head of Content Strategy and Planning at Sky, where they enhanced content operations across Europe. They hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Composition of Music for Film and Television from the University of Bristol.
