Liong Lim is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Group Risk Director (CRO) at Nine since January 2024, Liong previously held the position of Chief Risk Officer and General Counsel at GROW Inc from November 2019 to January 2024. Prior to that, Liong worked at Commonwealth Bank from 2007 to November 2019 in various Head and Chief of Staff roles within Governance Risk & Legal. Earlier in the career, Liong gained valuable experience as a Senior Associate at both Herbert Smith Freehills (2005-2007) and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (2000-2005). Liong holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Sydney and completed early education at Sydney Grammar School.
