Michael Koziol

Michael Koziol is a seasoned journalist currently serving as the North America correspondent for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age at Nine since January 2020, after previously holding the position of Sydney editor and Sun-Herald deputy editor. With a background at Fairfax Media from April 2014 to January 2020, Michael contributed as a journalist for the Sydney Morning Herald. Other experience includes serving as Group Editor for Alternative Media Group and roles as a radio presenter at 2ser and political reporter for PolitiFact Australia. Michael also edited Honi Soit, the University of Sydney's student newspaper, and worked as an editorial assistant at Fairfax Media. Michael holds a BA in Media and Communications from the University of Sydney.
