Owen Bouche

Owen Bouche has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Owen began their career in 1980 as a Shipping Executive at The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry before moving on to work as a Senior Sub Editor at Business Standard from 1985 to 1990. Owen then joined TIMES OF OMAN as a Managing Editor from 1990 to 1995. Owen Bouche spent the majority of their career at Fairfax Media, where they served as the Sales Director- General Classifieds from 1996 to 2018. In 2019, they took on the role of the Head of Classifieds at The Sydney Morning Herald & The Age. Most recently, Owen Bouche has been working as the Group Business Director at Nine, specifically in the Nine Plus division, since 2021.

Owen Bouche received their Senior Cambridge Certificate in The Arts from St Patrick's High School, where they studied from 1965 to 1974. Owen then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from St Xaviers College, Kolkata, from 1975 to 1979. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the Scotwork Advancing Negotiation Skills program from Scotwork in 2016. Owen also participated in a Leadership Development Programme at Mt. Eliza Business School, although the specific year of completion is unknown.
