Sean Thompson

Sean Thompson is an experienced journalist and editor currently serving as the Homepage Editor at Nine since October 2023. Prior to this role, Sean was the Desk Editor at The Australian Financial Review from January 2022 to October 2023 and held various positions at Nine from August 2017 to January 2022, including Producer and Morning Editor for 9news.com.au. Sean's earlier experience includes serving as Editor and Senior Reporter at News Corp Australia, managing a team and covering significant community stories. Initially, Sean began a career in journalism with Express Media Group as a Feature Writer. Sean holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Wollongong, earned between 2008 and 2010.
