Raymond Yang

Raymond Yang is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at WestSummit Capital, a growth stage venture capital firm established in January 2010, focusing on global technology investments and leveraging the "China Angle" for portfolio companies. Yang holds board positions at Pier 88 Health and Cloudwise and serves as a Board Observer for Couchbase, Mirantis, and Ninebot Inc. Previous roles include Board Memberships at Unity Technologies and Maginatics, Inc. (acquired by EMC), as well as Board Observer positions at Twitch (acquired by Amazon). Yang was also a Founding Partner of Taishan Angel AG, an angel investment group in China, from April 2008 to December 2009. Academic credentials include a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University and a Master of Science in Energy from the Graduate School of the China Electric Power Research Institute.
