Peter Oconnell

Peter O'Connell is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice President at Ninepoint Partners since April 2019, Peter has previously held positions such as Managing Director of Sales at Jemekk Capital Management Inc. from February 2017 to March 2018, and Director of Trading at AltaCorp Capital Inc. from August 2013 to January 2017. Earlier in his career, Peter was the Managing Director and Co-Head of Proprietary Trading at Stifel Financial Corp. from April 2011 to July 2013. Peter's educational background includes studies at King's University College from 1989 to 1992 and St. Michael's College School in Toronto from 1985 to 1989.
